The Cause Of Whitney Houston’s Death Solved

A Los Angeles County coroners office stated that Whitney’s death was a result of "drowning and the effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use." Whitney, who was only 48, died last month (2/11) after she was found underwater in a bathtub at a Beverly Hilton Hotel. "Cocaine and metabolites were identified and were contributory to the death," the report also states. "Marijuana, Alprazolam (Xanax), Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) and Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) were identified but did not contribute to the death." Although foul play was one of the suspicions after her death took place, the coroners office ruled it was an “accident” Whitney took upon herself.
