MC Magic

MC Magic is known for his smooth delivery and Latin styled melodic grooves that would make any woman want to get "Lost in Love." Magic's style is unique and is a mixture of Hip Hop & R&B with a twist of Latino Style and romance.   "Music was my first girlfriend and you know first loves never die," says Magic.

Magic writes and produces his own music, and has been able to keep his Latino heartthrob status with his enchanting and passionate lyrics. "I try to keep giving the people something they can feel, to make love songs, love songs last forever." With his easy rhythms, romantic lyrics and the occasional use of the "talk box", which was given to him by the Troutman Family, Magic continues to grow as an artist.

Magic was born in Nogales, Mexico and raised in Phoenix, AZ.  Even at the early age of 13, he began playing with keyboards and drum machines trying to create music. Some of Magic's early influences included artists like Zapp & Roger, Keith Sweat, Baby Face and Luis Miguel.

Magic created Nasty Boy Records in 1990, which evolved into the internationally known NB Ridaz, Along with group member Dos and Zig Zag.  The group has proven successful with songs like Down for Yours which reached top ten on the Billboard Rap Single chart in August of ‘97.  Then came Lost in Love which was Magic's next big hit on the CD entitled Invasion.  It featured the first song titled, Runaway, which was his first single to receive radio play on Power 106 in Los Angeles. Their recent hits like So Fly and Pretty Girl off the album NBRidaz.com, has received over 50,000 spins each and counting.  So Fly also reached #14 on the CHR National Rhythm radio charts.  NBRidaz have had their fair share of notable success including being #1 on radio station play lists in more than 60 radio markets including their hometown station KKFR-Power92 FM.  NB Ridaz still holds the state record for the largest crowd inTucson history attracting 60,000 people at Kennedy Park.

With all this success, Magic is poised to be successful with his newproject, Magic City. With Magic's newfound success, having marked him as one to watch, his solo career has already taking off.  Magic is independent and ready to prove himself again with Magic City to be released on May 9, 2006. The current single, Sexy Lady, has already played in over 55 stations across the country and has hit #1 in many markets. Magic will do just that.  Magic has joined up with some of the hottest artists in the game with features by artists like Baby Bash, Marcos Hernandez, Chingo Bling, Gemini, DJ Kane, and many more.
