
She is a “journalist for music.” She has gained immense popularity and respect in the #2 entertainment market being one half of the evening show, 7 p.m.- 10 p.m. on Radio One’s Los Angeles station, KKBT (100.3) The Beat. This is where the number one most-listened to radio entertainment report, “The Sleazy Report" was featured. Prior to The Beat, Kathleen was Atlanta’s sweetheart on WHTA (HOT 97.5, now 107.9) with co-hosts, multi-platinum rapper/actor, Christopher Bridges aka Ludacris (Def Jam) and comedian/ actor, Poon Daddy (Hustle & Flow). Additionally, she did a brief stint in Las Vegas KVEG (97.5) with a midday slot.
Kathleen has been touted as the little girl with the big voice. This is a far cry from her classical piano training and musical background. Don't be fooled by her smile and lady-like ways, the spunky phenom can rock any party, better than most of her fellow male peers. As a DJ, Kathleen has taken Hollywood by storm. Simultaneously, Kathleen can be found spinning at the hottest clubs, premieres, and events in L.A.

Lo's Swimwear Fashion Show, Twista’s Platinum Party, Lloyd Banks’ Album Release Party, NBA All Star Week in Atlanta and L.A., Alonzo Mourning's 7th through 10th (2003-2006) Annual Charity Summer Groove Weekend in Miami. She hosted Hot 107.9's 10th Anniversary Birthday Bash concert in Atlanta featuring Ludacris, Kanye West, Usher, Young Jeezy, Jermaine Dupri and T.I., to name a few. In February, K-Sly was featured on BET's Style while spinning at actress, Lisaraye McCoy's bridal shower. K-Sly was a celebrity guest cook for Project-by-Project's Annual Asian Food Festival in Los Angeles which will debut on BRAVO's Top Chef 2. She is featured in the highly-successful "Scarface" video game, as a female character and voice.
Kathleen was a motivational speaker for Rolling Out Magazine's "Entrepreneurial Success" seminar and for H.O.P.E. Worldwide's "Positive-Choice" program. Also, she hosted the 16th Annual Long Beach State University Step Show, and hosted Tyrese's (singer/actor) 3rd Annual Watts Day, Asian Hip Hop Summit I & II. Plus, she judged the 4th and 5th Annual Kollaboration Korean Talent Show, along with Asian Elevation 2006.
This energetic female even hosted a national radio show for Nissan’s Electric Moyo which aired in all the top 10 U.S. markets. Plus, she was featured on the video for the 2004 hit song “I Like That” by R&B singer, Houston. She was also the DJ/ announcer for the second season of WB's show, “Steve Harvey’s Big Time." Kathleen was the resident DJ/co-host for an internationally syndicated TV show, Dance 360 with actor/rapper, Fredro Starr, and actor/comedian, Kel Mitchell. Stars such as actor, Vince Vaughn expressed his excitement, along with TV host, Ellen Degeneres while VH1 featured a short commentary on its energy and humor. Additionally, Kathleen has appeared on FOX's On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, BET's Rap City with Big Tigger, MTV's Direct EFX, as well as, Oprah Winfrey’s Oxygen Channel while she released several mix cds over the years.

She has been featured in numerous publications including, Entertainment Weekly, Orange County Registrar, Access Unlimited Import Magazine, Audrey Fashion Magazine, along with several internet magazines. She was featured in an exclusive DJ fashion spread in XXL Magazine and mentioned in Complex magazine's June/July 2006 issue. Kathleen attended Kansas State University where she graduated with a B.A. in Sociology. While attending KSU, she volunteered and got her start on the college radio station, KSDB (91.9). She also pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a socially conscious organization.
While Kathleen is dedicated to her career, she shares it with a passion for promoting youth and community service. She is extremely active in encouraging youths to vote by speaking at several colleges and events. Regularly, she appears at schools throughout the greater Los Angeles area. She believes that youth issues are neglected, and in helping the youth, they may gain a better understanding of their place in society to become productive citizens. She is currently developing a scholarship for a young teen mother who desires to attend college, along with an "Anti-Racism" essay contest.
