Tony's latest musical offerings, "Robo Funk" on Soul Phusion, "Life in the Hot Box" on Sol Matic and "Deep in the Underground" / "Drop Some" on Tony's own imprint Hooligan, can be found in the record crates of some of the biggest names in dance music like: Donald Glaude, Bad Boy Bill, DJ Dan, Static Revenger, Richard Humpty Vission, Angel Alanis, Charles Feelgood and DJ Irene just to name a few.
Coming to Los Angeles in 1986, Tony B! first teamed up with the now legendary radio programmer Michael Martin. Tony and Michael split time on the tables five nights a week for 3 years. During that time Tony became a Billboard reporter, record pool director and started doing mix show and dance promotion for Delicious Vinly Records. Soon after Delicious Vinly promoted Tony to national director of crossover promotions and gave him his fist taste of remixing on the Band New Heavies hit "Never Stop".
Was now at the top of his game...but he wasn't done yet. Rejoining Michael Martin on LA's KIIS FM radio station for a Saturday night mix show. It didn't take long for Rick Cummings the program director of LA's POWER 106 to take notice and hire Tony for his own show. Five months into his stint at POWER 106, Tony joined forces with underground super star Richard Humpty Vission on his new mix show Power Tools. Tony B! co-hosted Power Tools with Humpty for over five years. Together they also started the West Coast first independent house label Aqua Boogie Records, releasing such club anthems as "The Feeling" by Sugar, "Saxmania" by Mijangos and "Energy" by Devone'.
In 1996 Tony B! accepted the opportunity to do a full time air shift when he joined Groove Radio 103.1, the station spearheaded be Swedish Egil. Tony's passion for music also led him to create two of LA's most successful and longest running nightclubs, The Dome and Diva. Through his experience and achievements he was able to expose LA to the big names in house music like: Little Louie Vega, David Morales, Armand Van Helden, Bad Boy Bill, Eric Morillo, Richard F, Taylor, David Alverado, Eddie Amador the list goes on and on.
Tony has established himself as a premiere DJ with more than 75 recordings and remixes plus 6 mixed CDs and one full length album to his credit, earning him a nomination by S.I.N. Magazine for Remixer of the Year. Tony B! has also been featured in numerous publications including the covers of DJ Times, Hits and Hitmakers. This history combined with his incredible talents and experience has earned Tony B! his mark as a JD, producer, remixer and artist.
Currently, Tony B! hosts his own weekly house music mix show on Q104.7 in Santa Barbara, CA. Tony B's Bassment mix is every Saturday night from 8 P.M. to 2 A.M. (6 hours) making it the longest house music show in America featuring international and local talent. Tony also continues touring the United States supporting his latest releases.
