Lori Ann
Lori Ann has worked with the some of best in the business…producers Ryan Leslie (Beyonce, Usher, Britney Spears, Carl Thomas), J-Praize (50 Cent, South City), Grammy award-winning mixing engineer Pete Novak (Outkast) and even has a joint featuring vocals by none other than P. Diddy. She’s been featured in countless music magazines – both online and print – and her voice can be heard on mixtapes from the East to West Coast. Her award-winning website (www.loriannmusic.com) has drawn over 600,000 visitors from the United States and beyond in just a few months, on word of mouth alone. With her own mixtape and long awaited debut album scheduled to drop in 2005, Lori Ann is positioned to be "The Next" R&B vocalist to take the game.

Hip-hop beats, smooth, sultry vocals, and honest lyrics blend seamlessly to create the style that is Lori Ann. But her talent doesn’t stop on the creative end. Lori Ann is also a savvy businesswoman in her own right, the Founder and CEO of the burgeoning Los Angeles based entertainment company MASSterpiece Music, LLC, under which she will release her highly anticipated mixtape.
Lori Ann
Lori Ann cites her influences as Teena Marie, Diana Ross, Tupac, Mariah Carey, and Mary J. Blige, among others. "I was also influenced by a lot of the R&B from the early 90’s…I grew up listening to JAM’N 94.5 in Boston, so it was always SWV, Mary J., New Edition…those artists really kind of shaped me," she says. Lori Ann’s earliest performances were for neighbors and family…people she insisted pay a dollar to sit and watch her. "Gotta stay on your hustle!" she laughs. The aspirations and "hustle" of her young years were early indicators of what was ahead, as Lori Ann’s live performances have grown – she’s played shows at several hot venues in the Hollywood/Los Angeles area, and expresses that she plans to take it all the way back to her hometown, Boston, MA.

Lori Ann is an undeniable talent to be on the lookout for, and one destined to be an inspiration to many people herself. She is poised for international success, and insists that she won’t stop. "There are so many haters in this game; I’ve learned to just shake it off. I’ve always known that music was my calling, so I’m just trying to do my thing. I’ve gained respect in the game on my own, and am lucky now to be surrounded by professionals who believe in me and my music."
