THE WORLD OF MUSIC Palm Beach is blessed with the likes of Beris Hammond, Mello Sound, Brown Brothers, Sweet C, Danger D and the one and only Junior Butler. At the Jamaican Independence celebration in West Palm Beach (Royce Hotel) Junior Butler stirred the audience with a song entitled "Live In Love." He held the microphone and made the day a very special one; giving thanks and praises to the Almighty for making it "Possible for us to reach our destiny in the land where we should be free fighting tribulation."
Junior Butler was born in Birmingham, Answorth, England and has been in Palm Beach for nine years. By way of his interviews both for Caribbean Lifestyles Magazine and WPMO radio he presents a great level of consciousness grounded in culture. Junior does programming for various artists including Marcia Barrett from the original Bonnie M Crew and Marcus Jame bass player of Eddie Grant.
He is an all rounded composer and look out for his album dubbed, "Give It Up To Me" with such songs as "Dreams Of You." Five years ago he started his own production company after doing a radio show at WPBR, and was one of the first to start playing jungle house and dance and techno in his market.
