A native to the Washington DC Metro Area, this Miami mix-show DJ and producer has been a fixture over the South Florida airwaves since 2002. Where he begin spinning on the US’s first 100’000 watt Pure Dance Channel, Party 93.1 (WPYM). Now Cato K can be heard every week on Miami’s Y100 (WHYI) & coast to coast on XM Satellite Radio (Ch. 81 BPM).

Nominated “Best Mix-Show Dj” along side the likes of Pete Tong & Armin Van Buuren at the 2007 International Dance Music Awards, Cato K has one of the hottest shows in the world. In the mix every week Cato spins the biggest club tracks from around the globe and provides exclusive guest mixes from some of the world’s biggest DJs. Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Roger Sanchez, Kaskade, Laidback Luke, Mark Knight, Benny Benassi, Chris Lake, David Guetta, George Acosta, Eric Prydz, Robbie Rivera, Cedric Gervais, Armand Van Helden, Tom Novy, Gabriel & Dresden, to name a few, have all been guests on the show.
Miami’s not the only city to enjoy Cato K’s funky, energetic, mix-shows. For over three years Cato K has been in the mix on XM 81 BPM reaching over 9 million listeners coast to coast. Also heard on DirecTV Ch 859, AOL Radio, aboard AirTran, JetBlue, & United Air, Cato K brings a little taste of Miami to listeners from all over the US & Canada every Friday Night.
Cato K has also kept quite a busy club schedule holding residencies in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Hollywood & Washington DC. Voodoo Lounge in Ft. Lauderdale has been home to Cato K for the past 5 years every Wednesday night. South Florida’s largest club Spirits at the Seminole Hard Rock has been Cato’s home on Fridays for over 2 years. The Terrace at Nocturnal, Downtown Miami on Saturday’s or Cameo on South Beach, Thursdays Cato K is one of the most sought after dj’s in all of South Florida. You an also catch Cato in his hometown of DC at Lima one Saturday a month.
In January of 2008 Cato K signed an excusive artist agreement with the United States premier dance label, Ultra Records. Cato K first single Ft. Kelly D “Feel Better’ was released in April and the follow up “U Can’t Hold Me Down” with remixes by Granite & Phunk, Christian Falero, & Alexander Orue is out now. Already this year Cato K has also remixed some of house music’s biggest artists: Benny Benassi, Austin Leeds, JJ Flores & Steve Smooth, Enur, Lenny B, Lula, Alan T & Fans of Jimmy Century.
By the end of 2007 Cato K had sold more than 70,000 cd’s with the releases of Ultra Weekend 3 & Ultra 2008. Both compilations were at the top of the Billboard Electronic Album Charts in 07’. And now look forward to Cato K latest mix compilation Ultra 2009 available in now.
