Now Thaat's What I Call Motown

When you think of Motown you think of some of the most influential music ever to be made.  If you are familiar with the NOW That’s What I Call Music series then you know it always brings the best songs to one CD.  Well when you put the two together you get one of the best single CD collections ever.  To celebrate 50 years of bringing such hits as The Supremes “Stop! In The Name of Love,” or Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours,” Motown and NOW give you 25 of the best Motown hits.  Often times you have to get several CD’s with just one or two great hits to have all the ones you really enjoy.  I have a previously released Motown 10 disc series which I love, but to have this CD with practically all the top hits saves me time from making my own special disc.  Plus it is perfect for your iPod or other digital music device because it is all in one album.  Now there are a couple songs I would have like to have heard on the disk but I wouldn’t take one song away.  The beauty of Motown music is it crosses all generations.  My Dad grew up on it and loves it, I grew up on it and love it, and now even my kids appreciate it just as much.  No wonder every Hip Hop and R&B artist has either been directly influenced or indirectly influenced by this timeless sound.  If you love R&B then this is a must have.  You can also visit classic.motown.com to see more items available to celebrate the 50 amazing years of music which only Motown could bring us.  Below is the entire track list for NOW That’s What I Call Motown which is available now.
