SNOOP DOGG'S LISTENING PARTY
Mix Matters had the chance to be invited to an exclusive Snoop Dogg listening party for his new album, Ego Trippin, due to be released March 11th on Interscope/Geffen. Many other hot IGA artists showed up and performed such as Colby O'Donis "What You Got," Teyana Taylor "Google Me," Omar Cruz "Hang with my Dogs," and Kenna "Say Goodbye to Love." The highlight of the album was Snoop Dogg's country song - a tribute to the late Jonny Cash. Check out the videos and pictures.
INTERNET MEDIA IS TAKING OVER RADIO
With so many places to listen to your music, other than on the radio, it seems radio stations could become the 8-tracks of the 60s or the records of the 80s, and what appears to be happening to CDs today. More people are podcasting or getting their music from their phones or just listening to internet radio stations. Online listening was up 26% last year, according to a research report from AccuStream iMedia Research.

Some of the hottest dance club songs are Britney Spears “Piece of Me,” Janet “Feedback,” and rounding out the top 10 is Mary J Blige “Just Fine.”
