Music is on its way to moving from the CD to MP3 or MP4 (iTunes). Now it looks like you may soon be buying devices with access to all the songs you want. The demand for music on the web is truly taking over. If iTunes is successful at this venture, they will surely dominate the music device industry. In fact they may actually end up monopolizing it. This would be very dangerous for the consumer as well as the artist.
