Ok beatheads, as promised, I am back sooner than later! I have been out travelling quite a little bit this last month or so & I have found lots of great music to share with you.
A little side note:
I was just out on tour for a few days with a great Rock n’ Roll Band called Fiction Plane. I was thrilled to do some opening warm up sets for them over Easter weekend. What a great time!! If you happened to be in attendance at any of the gigs in Belgium or the Netherlands, I just wana say a big thanks to ya’ll. I had a blasty blast mixing it up with some rock/house mash ups out there! Everyone was way cool ass! Hope to see you all there again soon!!

Hailing from Sweden, Yukimi Nagano blesses us with her precious voice on yet another great project. This time it’s her own! With Little Dragon (I can only assume the little dragon is her…), Yukimi shows us she has soul. Her vocals on this record are amazing. If your not familiar with the name Yukimi, you may just recognize her voice from some of the wonderful tracks she’s done with Koop over the years?
I was lucky enough to be one of the few folks who saw Little Dragon at the Big Chill House last Thursday night in Kings Cross, London… Nick Luscombe and the Flowmotion crew do a great night once a month or so. What a great show it was too!

This is a really unique and wonderful sounding record. Every track has it’s own little redeeming elements.. sexy, playful, quirky, and very catchy. Track 4 “Recommendation” will have you tappin’ those toes. Track 1. “Twice” is heart breakingly slow and simple. She creates an intimacy that is rare in music today.
