A really terrific 2 disc set of talented and inspired downtempo remixes and rare B-side tracks from the funkmeister Quantic. A superb intro to his stuff if you aren’t familiar with him. He also captains the project, Quantic Soul Orchestra as well, ring any bells yet? This guy is really a great talent in his field. He has an amazing ear, and is obviously well schooled in soul and funk. I would love to spend even one hour with his record collection, I am sure that it must be EPIC! Quantic has helmed many side projects of rare funk/soul compilation mixes as well. He is a guru of guru’s. Many rare and hard to find cuts on here if you are a fan of Quantic’s stylings … I am loving this record. The perfect funky downtempo record for any beatheads collection.
